Recent updates from easyJet highlight additional routes between the UK and the Algarve for summer 2026, including a new connection from Newcastle to Faro.
This added accessibility is expected to bring even more visitors into the Western Algarve, particularly from the North of England, opening up the region to a wider pool of travellers.
With more direct routes available, booking behaviour is shifting earlier – as flights are secured sooner, accommodation demand follows quickly behind. This is already contributing to reduced availability across key areas such as Lagos, Praia da Luz, and Portimão.
